NCMEA member Margaret Maurice of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools was named the 2023 Fine Arts Educator of the Year at this year’s North Carolina Showcase on May 13! This event is sponsored by the North Carolina Association for Scholastic Activities and celebrates excellence in education throughout the state.
Ms. Maurice demonstrates educational excellence, leadership, and collaboration, and serves as an inspiration to her students and those around her on a daily basis. We are proud to have her represent NCMEA and music education in our state!
