Congratulations to Dr. LaSaundra Booth on being accepted into the Sphinx LEAD (Leaders in Excellence, Arts & Diversity) program.
Sphinx LEAD is a 2-year professional empowerment program designed to evolve the landscape of arts leadership. Ten arts leaders and entrepreneurs of color are selected annually to participate in a curriculum including mentorship, networking and leadership retreats at top institutions nationwide.
Dr. Booth recently severed as NCMEA District 3 President. In addition, Dr. Booth is an inventor who was awarded a patent by the USPTO for designing a music instruction apparatus for string instruments (USPTO# 20140260902). Congratulations to Dr. LaSaundra Booth!!!!
