Music Making at Pleasant Grove and E.M. Yoder Elementary

Students at Pleasant Grove and E.M. Yoder Elementary are actively participating in music during their classroom meetings on Zoom and Google Meets! Music Teacher, Mrs. Kelly Poquette, and the classroom teachers at both schools coordinate times for music lessons to take place at the beginning of their meetings. A huge shout out to all the E.M. Yoder and Pleasant Grove Elementary classroom teachers for collaborating with Mrs. Poquette!
In the Music lessons students are actively engaged in: body percussion, vocal warm-ups, rhythm warm-ups, dancing, improvisation, movement, singing and adding music to children’s literature. Here are a couple of videos from Mrs. Kimberly Pittman’s Third Grade Meeting at Pleasant Grove Elementary.
