North Carolina Music Educations Association Professional Development Conference

Submission Deadline is August 1, 2019
Individuals are invited to submit proposals for the NCMEA Conference Research Poster Session on Monday, November 11, 2019. Students (undergraduate and graduate), teachers and university faculty are welcome to submit abstracts describing research on topics related to any aspect of music teaching and learning. Research, reviews of literature and works-in-progress are eligible for consideration. Submissions for this conference may have been accepted for publication but must not have appeared in print prior to the conference. Reports presented at other conferences will be considered if the audience was substantially different. A statement specifying particulars of any prior presentation must be included with the submission. Submissions from individuals outside of North Carolina are encouraged.
Submissions should include:
- Identifying information (i.e. author name, any secondary author[s] names, school or university affiliation and email address).
- An abstract of 300-500 words. Include the title, summarize the research purpose, methodology, findings and implications. Please do not include the identifying information in the abstract.
